Meagan Taylor, MBA, CIM®,PFP®, QAFP®

Hi, I’m Meagan. I’ve been an accredited Financial Planner in Ontario since 2017.

In addition to being a QUALIFIED ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I’ve achieved and maintain both the Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).

What does accredited mean when it comes to the title Financial Planner?

In Ontario, being an accredited financial planner means holding a credential that is officially recognized by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). FSRA regulates the use of the title "Financial Planner" under the Financial Professionals Title Protection Act 2019. FP Canada is approved by the FSRA as a credentialing body offering the QAFP® and CFP® designations.
